I am looking at the possibility of using Drupal for a multilingual site. I have done one with Drupal - so I have a basic understanding of the i18n modules and how you can have different versions of articles for different languages.
However:
Has anyone required multiple versions of comments in different languages?
Has anyone tied this to an automatic translation engine of some kind?
It seems to me that I need comments to be full blown nodes and so I dont think I can use the standard comment module :-(
Hello, I'm trying to install some themes in my website but when I upload the new themes in "/drupal/themes/" folder, they don't appear in "admin->themes" drupal administrator. I don't know why, because they've a correct permissions and I think that it's all right.
I've been reading a lot of manuals through the internet than explain the installation themes in drupal, but don't run good.
Anyone can help me? I don't know to do more. My website run under Drupal 4.6, Apache 2.0 and GNU/Linux as O.S.
As a Drupal virgin I'm sure every questions I need answering has been asked zillions of time before.
How do I search the forums to find an answer so I don't have to repost questions that have previously been answered?
Hi...
I installed drupal (brixia.afiua.com) and i have some question about the configuration:
1) basically iìld like to see the menù with the list of the categories (grammatica, vocabolario, ecc... this is ok) with the list of the pages for every category... but i didn't find a way to do this automatically.
2) when i click on a category name i'ld like to see only the titles of the pages (maybe ordered in some ways) but i found only the possibility to diplay at least 200 char :( :(
I've created an "item" flexinode which I would like to be "self-maintaining" with WIKI like behavior, ie. authenticated users should be able to change it at will (and or compare with previous revisions) and moderators should be able to revert changes if required.
Try as I might, I can't get my Drupal installation to assign a "personal contact form" to my #1 user, the site administrator (that is, me).
Till now, I had no interest in assigning him one. But now I'd like him to have one.
On his account, under "Contact Settings," I've ticked "personal contact form." I've enabled the Contact module. Other users have properly working "personal contact forms." But for this user, no luck. On his "user account" page, the "Contact" tab doesn't even show up.
