Post installation

does anyone know of an audio player that i can use with the audio module that has a slider so people can move around within a song if they like? the xspf thin player is nice but doesn't have that particular feature.

I want my front page to look like this, in this order:

Block A - Fixed content

Block B - Fixed content

Stories - as usual, each new story goes to the top of the heap.

I've created a new block for A and B in the content region, but the stories always come out at the top of the page, before Blocks A and B. I've tried putting the blocks in the header region, but they don't appear. Also, from a useability standpoint, shouldn't there be a system block called "stories" that can be controlled from the block administration?

Let's say I have detailed information about 500 different widget factories. Information such as factory hours, yearly sales, number of workers, location, average wage, safety inspections, etc. I want Drupal to generate a different web page profiling each factory (500 total) with a unique URL for each factory (say website.com/factories/factory1, website.com/factories/factory2, etc). I would rather not have to manually create a page for each factory using Drupal's page module and the path module.

I'm trying to learn drupal and rudimentary css by working with my
first drupal install and the friendselectric theme.

To help sort out things, I've modified the .png references in the
style.css file to be .png that include graphical representations of
their role (eg header-left.png is a picture of "header-left.png".)
Everything shows up graphically according to it's role.

okay so when i make a post and its published to the front page...it shows up fine but if i have too much text, it automatically cuts it off and makes a link on the bottom saying "read more"...is there a way to disable this or make it so it'll allow more text before cutting off? thanks

Everything looks fine but I see no fields in Settings page. Header and sub-header like General settings, Error handling, Cache setting etc are only visible.

All the fields seem to be in the html source but nothing comes up on the page! Am I missing something?
