Post installation

Hi there,

I left some questions on the category module project page but did not get an answer, I,m trying here because I'm getting really desperate.

I really want to use category module on my site but it seems I just can't update my forums properly as they don't seem to play very well together.

Ok si here is what I did:

Installed category module and the activated wraper module... At that exact moment my forum module was showing as empty even though I did not even transfer the taxonomy to category yet.

If I disable the wrapper module, my forum containers are back in their place.

I tried to transfer the forum vocab to category module by using category legacy module, and the transfer is actually done... I selected to redirect the paths to their new paths and also to redirect the aliases...

Once again the forum module shows empty like if they were no containers or categories...

I tried then to reinstall the taxonomy wrapper module, does not work, forum module does not recognize the new location of it's terms...But the terms are there, there are just not connected to the forum module.

I also tried to transfer the forum terms to the category module without redirecting anything and still the forum shows as an empty module...Even though the terms are clearly there.

What are the solutions to this upgrade problem??

Should I continue to use the forum with the taxonomy module only and redirect all other vocabs to category module?? Seems to me not to be a good idea since I need the taxonomy wrapper module and the forum does not work with the taxonomy wrapper module.

i am working a on a fresh installation of drupal 4.7

I installed the click module and from there, things went wrong. I got a page not found.

i created a friendly "user denies access" page at installation so that anonymous users cant access the site but i have sort blocked myself (admin) from logging in cuz all pages require users to login in first.

Now i go to the main site and i cant login in because the login block is missing. I know i set the login block to appear by default. the click module must have done something and messed it up.

I'm having an problem with the upload module...I can't upload files over 20M. I have my max upload as 50M and my total max at 6 gigs. I have my php upload_max_filesize as 50M (yes, I have some big files to upload). But it won't upload it...it says:

I am using the modules cck and category with the book & taxonomy wrappers installed

When I create a forum or container for a forum

it appears to be created but never appears in the list

Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be, there are no messages in the logs which appear either to be related or even at the same time

OK in a desperate attempt to get a site live in the absence of a released Flexinode, I put CCK on the site. (Flexinode is not even listed for 4.7 and CCK is listed but with dire warnings - but I had to choose SOMETHING! The client has been screaming for the site and Drupal has been in version-limbo for months).

So CCK is installed and activated HOWEVER, flexinode is there but not activated.

Hello everybody

I have used Drupal 4.7 for creating a web with static content, I dont want the users can do login.

Then I disabled the User Login Block, but I have a problem, how can I login as administrator for maintenance if I have disabled the User Login Block?
