Post installation

hi all and hope you can help me out..

I am new to drupal and run 4.7. Just installed CCK and event and after enabling event cannot go to admin->modules anymore, either get a blank page or this:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 225 bytes) in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/13303/webspace/httpdocs/d470/includes/theme.inc on line 751

Now that I basically lost control over my site, my only hope is that someone would be able to help me out here..

I'm trying to transfer vocabs to the category module and it always brings up an error 500 in the middle of the operation!

I tried with the cvs and the 4.7 version of the category module, I tried transferring paths with category wrapper enabled and disabled, I tried transferring only vocab at a time, still, always error 500.

Any ideas why is that??

The site is a freshly updated site on 4.7 from 4.6 would that cause any problems?

I am trying to insert some forum nodes for a job board through mysql/php. I have ran the following 4 queries:

$query1 = "INSERT INTO `node_revisions` ( `nid` , `vid` , `uid` , `title` , `body` , `teaser` , `log` , `timestamp` , `format` )
VALUES ('$id', '$id', '358', '$title', '$html', '$html', '', '$t', '3')";
mysql_query($query1) or DIE("node revision insert failed");

Is it possible to run a site with taxonomy module AND category module installed and running side by side on the same site?

I have trouble to change my forums so they work with category module so I tought that maybe I could change all my terms and vocabs and just keep the forums with taxonomy module so that I don't have to recreate my forums from scratch....

I don,t want to install taxonomy wrapper because it disables my forum as well (terms don't show up on the main forum page) so I need to use category AND taxonomy module side by side, is that possible?

Under administer-->settings
By mistake, i clicked the "Reset to defaults" button.....

So I quickly restored the variable table.

All the administer-->settings values were back but now all uploaded images including profile pictures display "UserName's picture" link instead of the images...

Thank you a ton if you now how to fix this quick....
