What I'm trying to do is have some default text come up as the homepage to any anonymous user but have the WebCalendar be the hompage of authorized users.
Is there a way to do this? I'm tried using the event calendar but it doesn't have the features I need.
I have Drupal 4.7 installed, then I download Asterisk integration package from http://drupal.org/node/31142/, install it as written in INSTALL.txt. But when I open my information page ( http://192.168.0.13/drupal/?q=user/1/edit ) I get an error Fatal error: Call to undefined function: form_textfield() in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/drupal/modules/asterisk/asterisk.module on line 762
Also, when I press "my calls" link ( http://192.168.0.13/drupal/?q=user/1/calls ) I get an error Fatal error: Call to undefined function: tablesort_pager() in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/drupal/modules/asterisk/asterisk.module on line 1070
Also at administration section there is a big error message:

I'm trying to set up a new web site with a user role with an intermediate level of control over the site. Let's call this the 'manager' role. What I'm a bit surprised by is that when I allow this user role the "administer users" permission, they can add a new user, but not assign user roles unless I give the very broad "administer access control" permission. I realize the number of permissions can already be overwhelming, but it seems like these two ought to be separable. Am I missing something?
The problem is, that if a logged-in goes to a link like www.example.com/comment/reply/(node numver)#comment_form on my drupal site, it "forgets" the $user global - the comment form looks like if he were an anonymous user, and if I modify the comment.module to show the $user->uid on the page, I get zero.
But if the URL is like ww.example.com/?q=comment/... then everything is fine!
Can anybody please help me? I installed html area wysiwyg editor and decided it wasn't for me, ok now the problem is I can't get rid of it!!!!
I have removed every installed component, deactivated everything remotely related, flushed cache, etc. and the thing just wont go away!
I have tested it from other computers and it is not just something which is stuck in mine. I have tried several browsers: same.
Where it offends most is in the "add comment" area. A couple of users have not added comments because the field is full of gobbldy-gook, eg:
