Making Drupal 4.7 work with Wildcard DNS for any path

First, I've read through every post on here regarding wildcard dns support, directory forwarding, etc and haven't found anything I've been able to make work yet.

I'm trying to get anything2.anything1.mysite.com to pull from mysite.com/anything1/anything2 etc (as in keep the visable path anything1.mysite.com). I thought I could simply use wildcard dns support and quick mod rewrite to make it work but no luck thus far. I've got wildcards enabled and I've tried out a number of mod_rewrite codes, this is what I'm currently running:

Conflict between image assist link and tinymce rich editor link

Creatong new pages.

I havent yet installed Drupal yet so i was wondering, When you create new pages, is there just a button "new page" and then type your own HTML/PHP on that (Like e107) Or do u have to create a module for new pages? Thanks

IE truncates filenames of .exe files when they are gzip encoded

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to setup a basic file repository for my support site using drupal and the disk node module to attach files to pages. Downloading seemed to be fine until I tried to add a .exe file. Firefox downloads it fine but IE truncates any .exe file to whatever it gets before the first " . " in the filename.

Remove sticky pages from front page

Ok, I have some categories, with a sticky page at the top and stories beneath.

The thing is, all those sticky pages are also sticking on my root/index/frontpage. It's OK if the stories are there, but the sticky pages really don't belong.

I'm working off the sharepoint-like theme.
