Post installation

For some reason the upcoming events block is not showing events that are flexinode types (that are enabled to be in the calendar). The calendar monthly view (or any other view) shows them just fine. What could be the problem?

I have 4.7 up and running fine, but I just downloaded the views zip file and unzipped it.

the instructions are not clear at all.

it says:

"In 4.7, Views can be installed simply by activating the module, thanks to the
new module installation features."

okay - where are these files copied?

there is a .module file that file is outside of the modules directory?

I tried copying the folder into modules but that did not work

So I find that the only updated version is in CVS and doesn't work with 4.6???? Is this right? Shouldn't security vulnerabilities be fixed for all versions?

I'm working on a new payment gateway module for the ecommerce package. However looking at some of the existing payment modules I can't see a clear workflow for what happens when a buyers payment card is declined.

It might be declined due to typing the number in wrong, so should they be given infinite chances to re-try, or should they be sent to a page with an empty cart and told to start again?

I'm guessing each failed card attempt should be recorded in the database with a declined flag for the payment workflow per transaction.

I am trying to update one node (edit the node, by adding to a multiple entry field type) from a field of another node upon submission of the node. does that make sense? Both nodes are CCK created.

one node (A) is a group of fields, one of which is a multiple select field which draws on a list of nodes(B) in a given taxonomy. I want the user name (ID) of the creator of node A to be written back to the node (B) in a user node field.

is this possible?

Okej, I have tried and searched amongst the modules in this website but I can't find exactly what I want and if I do, they don't work. HELP!

First:
I want a calender where you can type in upcoming events, not browse earlier events. I have tryed the events calender but it looks really weird! Anybody have any sugestion?

Second:
I have downloaded FileRequest and followed the instructions in how to install it, I have created a throttle.config.php page too. It doesn't work and even though I have activated the module I can't find it anywhere.
