New Drupal user here. I installed the the attachments module (and the required filemanager module). I can upload things to the private directory from the 'attachment' form on a new page - so far so good.
But I cannot see a list of documents attached to my new page, either logged in as the page owner, or as another user, or manage or delete the documents.
Nor is the upload attachment form asking for a title and description, as according to the module description, it should do.
I'm sure I'm missing something here, can anyone give me a hint? Pretty please?
The selected file /tmp/tmp_3sx2ec could not be uploaded, because the destination /tmp/video/The Newz Jan 27 2006.3gp is not properly configured.

Hi there. I've cut and pasted some code from drupal into my own home page, for the user login. When they submit a username and password, they are directed to a script which includes the bootstrap and authenticates the user, and all works well.
Hi - I've been having a strange problem; I have an swf (with several attached-- loadMovieNum --swfs and a txt file ) that works just fine when I open the uploaded file in the browser, but when I embed that file in a Drupal node, the loadMovieNum and the loadVarsText functions stop working. I thought it might be the way I was embedding the file in the node, but I've tried it a lot of ways. Any suggestions?
I'm running Drupal 4.7.3 with categories and I am having problems with blank pages appearing. It's typically been problems with categories-related nodes, and I am making complaints in their project section :) but today for the first time my front page loaded blank. Pages generally work on subsequent reload, but not always. There are no errors in the drupal log or the apache error log. What can I do to stop this from happening? It's not acceptable that I should get no output with no error.
We recently had our site moved to a new server, and this is the message I'm getting now when I try to change anything in the general settings page. Every other page, including other settings pages (aggregator, ect.) also work fine. We have clean URLs enabled, which could be an issue ... mind you, EVERYTHING worked fine before the move.
Has anyone else run into this? I haven't found anything in the forums.
(And we will upgrade to 4.7 later this year, once I've got time to do it.)
