Post installation

Hi guys I was wondering if its possible to access the php.ini from webmin because I tried threw FTP and i got no rights to write to that file. However I do have root access to my virtual server. Can anyone tell me how to get to that file?

I also have access to Apache's configuration file.

I want to enable GD2 so my image compression works!

I imported about 3000 articles and 800 images to a site, and after that put something to the search box and submit - it loads about a minute or two and then stops. It doesn't leave the page that I typed the search from, doesn't show any errors at all and doesn't add anything to drupal logs either..

Any idea what might be the problem?

The site indexing via cron seems to do some weird stuff as well - I'm getting _more_ items to index sometimes when I run cron, though there are no new nodes submitted.

search_index-table is already 440 000 rows :O

Hi, first time posting in the forums, and not sure whether this is the right category for it, I will continue anyway.

My problem is that I would like to add prefixes to any URLs in content which leads to other sites.

For example, I would like to do something similar to making a link like this:

http://hazexp.googlepages.com/test.png

Turn into something like this:

The teaser for my nodes posted by CCK are not working for some reason. I tried with and without contemplate module and it still didnt work.

My teasers DO work however when i use story, page, and any other method of posting.

Does anyone know why this could be happening?

"Add Live Bookmark" was where the browser link is, it's an orange square once you click it asks you to bookmark or not.

I just noticed it’s not there anymore, I can’t recall doing anything to make this go away, anyone know why this disappeared, or how do I bring it back?

I just want to send simple plain-text email's regarding website announcements to my already registered users, which is the simplest to implement module for acgieving that, I tried mail.module but I am unable to find the setting "administer > content > configure > content types" in my Drupal control panel??? Pls. guide..
