Post installation

Hello. I'm seriously new to Drupal. I'm in the process of switching over a community site from Wordpress. I have searched for an answwer to my question but can not find one. My question: how do I change the front page to show the news aggregator content instead of the default front page content? Basically, I want the news aggregator to be on the front page and the default front page content to be on a secondary page.

Can you please, please point me to a resource or how to?

the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is an ip number.

Hi,

I recenlty move my blog from dotclear (http://www.dotclear.net) to drupal. To do this, I created a vocabulary named "Blog" and all my categories are now terms.

As I want to provide a complete rss feed, I do not find how to do it. It seems there is no way to display feed for a vocabulary (it seems possible just for terms...)

Please tell me I'm wrong... :-/

Moved the entire database to another hosting provider with no problems (from mySQL5 to mySQL4). The information is all there. The hosting provider told us to change the settings.php from localhost to our ip address which caused an internal server error. They refuse to give us the path to the socket file. Originally we were getting mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) for the error message. After changing the settings in php we're now getting an internal server error.

I am trying to put content on & edit my site. I was logged in as administrator & at one point, I noticed the changes I was saving were not taking effect!. I logged out but could not log in again, not even with my other alternative user names! Restarting the pc did not help. I now here quite perplxed not knowing what the problem could be!

Something spooky going on here or someone has a solution for me? I also need to urgently remove my files after finishing some work on the site as my host is shortly closing shop. :(

I recently migrated my drupal site from one computer to another and now unfortunately I'm having some really serious trouble with clean URLs! They just won't work anymore. Only the front page naturally is in order. Everything else is screwed up.

Any ideas?
