Post installation

I'm looking for a module that will allow my users to submit a new node and attach files to that node when the file is already attached elsewhere.

So, the workflow is something like:

1. Create node 1 with attachment1.txt
2. Create many more nodes
3. Create node 10 and list attachment1.txt as an attachment of node 10 even though it was uploaded to node 1

This is similar to img_assist but for attachments instead of images.

Any ideas?

I use private messages module on somvprahe.sk
(this module enable messaging from user to user)

This module offers other useful feature, that it will send email (one for a day) to user if this user has unread messages in his inbox.
But tjis feature can be set only on edit user profile page (checkbox).

Problem is that I want to set this feature for every users on web
but I dont want to set hundred times on edit profile page for each user.

I cant add content.

If I click on content > create content > page - Firefox says its loading a page, but nothing happens for ages.

but, when I click on any of the other options like: content > create content > product or content > create content > program, theres no problem and it pops straight to the page.

Now, Im guessing its got something to do with access control - but what?

I know its dead simple, please help before I headbutt a larger hole in the wall / floor / inanimate object.

I am looking for advice as to the best way to give paid subscribers access to several directories of large files.

I'm currently using the ecommerce module to sell a product. Once a users buys that product, I'd like their user status to change from "authenticated user" to "registered student", and for them to have access to several directories of mp3 and pdf files, that should be protected from the public.

I've tried the ecommerce file module, but that only works for single files.
