Post installation

OK, this is not a short and easy one, but I would really appreciate your help :-)

I want to create a Yellow Pages Script (yes, I've searched the whole drupal site, but I didn't find the answers I was looking for). The main Yellow Pages site in Norway is "Gule Sider" (meaning "yellow pages") at www.gulesider.no, please see http://www.gulesider.no/gs/categoryList.c?q=biler as an example (this is a search for "cars" in Norwegian).

In this exact search for "biler" (search for cars/car firms) you'll see :

IN THE MAIN COLUMN
- in the top theres some ads (I could use phpMyAdmin to do this),
- then theres some paid listings WITH their logo/images (I will send invoices by snailmail, but it should be possible to order listings directly from my website)
- then paid listings WITHOUT logo/images
- then this search finds the most relevant firms with "biler" in their name
- at the

THE LEFT COLUMN
- a directory of various car firms (firms that sells tires, autodealers, car repair etc. etc.)

AT THE TOP
- a search box to search the entire site

So, I guess this would be difficult to accopplish using Drupal, but I also guess it would be possible, but don't have a clue how to do this.

I'd prefer just to buy a yellow pages script, but I have yet to find any good ones - most are outdated, poor code etc. Then there's Drupal, but this will take several months to do by myself, cannot affort to spend that much time on this project.

I tried everything on this thread and I still have a blank page after login.

Deleting the cookies brings back the site.

I can´t access anything after login. Not even able to disable cache settings. So I´m unable to update to 4.7.x. There is just a blank page and nothing in it. The same result for other who logs in is also a blank page.

The database seems to be okay.

I use 4.6.10 on php5.2, MySQL 4.0.24 running on Debian via a hosting company.

I am using Drupal 4.7.4 with the logintoboggan module. I've enabled pictures in administer > users > settings > picture support. I made a folder "pictures" in my files folder (both have CHMOD 777 settings). I uploaded a default picture (that is correctly displayed on the user profiles), but deleting it and uploading a custom picture by a authenticated user doesn't work. What should I do?

I am creating a block that is only displayed on taxonomy pages. This is simple enough, just use taxonomy/* in the block's display settings. But after that, I'm lost. How can I tell which vocabulary it's being displayed under? It really seems like there should be a simple function to determine this, but everything I find at api.drupal.org relates to specific nodes, to the taxonomy listings.

i am unable to figure out how to make pages like that

I would like to get tabbed page for each taxonomy vocabulary. Each tab may content one term nodes.
I think it it can be done by views module but I cannot figure out the way to get it.

Any help?
