$50 to answer (mostly) CCK and View module questions

I have put up $50 on rentacoder to answer some support questions if anyone's interested. I think they are quite straightforward issues...

img_assist link= is not working

Gang,

I just upgraded to img_assist version: 1.56.2.18

My site is 4.7.2

What isn't working is the "link=" part (makes the image itself a hyperlink to something)

Example:

[img_assist|nid=285|title=|desc=|link=url,http://campjrf.org|align=left|width=105|height=105]

It doesn't matter whether the link is to another web site with a full path (like above) or to a relative link on the same site. The link shows up as hot and you when you click on it it takes you to the home page.

Thanks for the help.

Action that creates content

Hi, I want to create an action with the Actions module to create new content automatically (i.e. new Forum topic each time I create a new CCK node). Is there a way to do that?

Thanks :)

Help installing modules

I'm sure this has been posted a million times, but this forum is a PITA to navigate.

I downloaded, untarred, and moved a couple modules (administration, fckeditor) to my sites/default/modules folder. They are not showing up under admin/modules. Neither of these have mysql files or update the db. I'm running v4.7.5 on linux and the permissions look fine (the sites/default/modules folder is drwxr-xr-x, owner is 27743, group is 27744, and all files in the respective modules' folders are -rw-r--r--).

Thanks
