Post installation

Hi I have searched for hours and am not finding anything to help me out.

When an anonymous user attempts to post a comment on the forum (which I have set up for "Anonymous posters must leave their contact information") they include their email and then receive "The e-mail address you specified is not valid."

I can only think I am missing something somewhere in permissions but danged if I can find it.

Could somebody advise please?

I've been trying to find a suitable solution but i haven't been able to find a good way to implement this:

I have two drupal installations, a live version and a dev version. I'd like to copy only the user table from one to another, is this possible? I've tried exporting the users table sql, and importing again, everything runs ok until a new user tries to register, they're being assigned a uid field that's been taken by my new import of users. Where's this uid number coming from, can anyone help?

My site is installed and works good about one year. Now it became more popular and I have problems with max_connections to database when quite a lot of peoples comes to site at one time. So I decide to enable caching. But have a problems with this.

After enabling caching web site can be accessed only from Firefox. IE and Opera show blank pages without errors. The strangest thing that Firefox is working.
Right now my drupal version is 4.6.11, but more old versions have this problem too. Maybe this is some kind of hosting configuration issues?

Hi,

I'm looking for a simple way to build a view that would show the 'latest promoted nodes' with the most recent promoted nodes on the top. Each new promoted node would arrive at the top of that list.

How is it possible to achieve such a listing, views does not seem to do it, as I don,t want to sort nodes by creation date.

Is this possible?

I am looking for a way to reduce work for me writing html tags (like strong, h1, h2). Is there a module which set some tags in a specific node type ? I am not very familiar with PHP. Thanky vor your answer in advance.
