Post installation

Hello!

What module do I have to use to hide a certain forum or container inside the forums? (Give access to special users/roles only.)

With tac lite I managed to hide/allow individual forum threads, but not whole categories (containers/subforums).

Or do I have to use TAC or Simple Access?

I'm trying to make my newly founded online creative writing workshop website (link in my sig), better, but I'm a drupal novice, so I was wondering if anyone could help me out - let me know if there are easy ways to do any of the things I want to do, or if I'd have to pay someone else to customize them for me (IE not do them at all). The site is all free to use, ad-free, and I pay for the hosting, so I don't have any kind of budget to pay for things.

1) The emphasis of the site is improving members' writing through specific assignments. I'm trying to encourage people to give feedback and one of encouraging people is to make it easier. I want to make it so that instead of just being able to comment on people's pieces in a separate post, that they can actually edit their own copy of the piece and drupal will track the changes that they make to the post--- like mark them up in red or something. This would simulate the way you can write in the margins of someone's printed piece.

2) I would like to know the easiest way to implement a more complex user profile-- one where you can see all the pieces that people have posted, and maybe the comments they've posted as well. It'd be nice to have an 'about me' section too, but not as important.

I don't want the contents in a tab to be refreshed, i.e. go back to the original state, everytime the tab is selected. Is there a solution for this??

In the block settings I have selected 'Show on every page except the listed pages' and have '' in text area below but block still shows.

I have checked the rss output of my site and the rss feed is showing the edited nodes as new nodes.

I will make an example as i am not very good with english.

I add today a post for example:

Hello world

Drupal adds it to the rss feed.

I edit the same post tomorrow.

Hello world, new line.

Drupal adds it to the rss feed as a new post.

Then the rss feed is showing

Hello world, new line.

and

Hello world

Hi!
