Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Post comments on user profiles?

Is there any easy way to do this?

I have looked at the guestbook module, but that isn't compatible with Drupal 5.x.

I have also tried using the nodeprofile/nodefamily/usernode modules to successfully create user profiles as nodes, thus allowing comments to be added. BUT, this seems like more a headache than it's worth since I essentially now have two user profiles, one of which (the usernode) would have to be customized greatly to match the features and integration of the core Profile content type (this is beyond my knowledge at this point).

access problem

I created a new content type called "review". For some reason only registered users can view content created with the content type, how do i fix this?

Change target to (target="_blank") for the link to an attachment

Hi
Can some one please tell me what file I need to change to add a target for the file attachment links? Currently the attachment open up in the same window, but my client has requested to have them opening in a separate window.

In what file can I add the target="_blank" tag to the a href link for a uploaded, attached file?

Thank you for any help or advice. I'm using Drupal 5.1

how to spread a node over several pages

i saw this talked about in another thread, but it didn't really give me info on how to do it, since it seemed to be talking about how not to do it.

what i want is to not have really long pages...i have some content that is getting quite wordy and i would like to have page numbers at the bottom of the page 1l2l3l4l5lNext page that sort of thing...to split the page up into shorter pages.

how do i do this?

thanks in advance!

Block Visibility with Drupal 5.1

I have a Drupal 4.x site and had no issues setting it up. However, I just installed Druapl 5.1 for another site but I can having a heck of a time getting my blocks to show up. As of now, I am the only user using the site and I am the tech admin. I also created an Admin role and assigned it to myself. I have "enabled" them even though the checkbox as indicated in the Drupal.org site documentation is no longer there. I have selected that they are visible to my user role. But they are not appearing. Again, the documentation on Drupal.org only pertains to 4.x.
