I am using the photoblog module and I am able to view my photoblog but I set it up so anyone can view it whether or not they are registered. I even tried viewing it as a registered user (not admin) and I still am getting "page not found". I have checked all of my permissions and everything having to do with image and photoblog seems to be marked "access" so maybe I am missing something.
when trying to edit new page or article and pressing the link to open FCK editor, new big pop up screen is open but it is empty - without anything in it (not the article page values or the FCK editor)
From what I can see Drupal has a lot to offer, but in trying to get started with it I find some very basic installation information seems to be missing or much harder to find than it should be.
Because Drupal uses several directories and files it makes sense to me to install it in a subdirectory rather than the root directory of a domain, but the Drupal files by default seem to be setup such that if you want references to www.mysite.com to be handled by Drupal it needs to be installed in the root of www.mysite.com.
I have a hosting service that allows multiple domains to be hosting under one account. Some domains already have content built with static pages. I would like to convert some of them to Drupal maintaining the same file structure so all inbound links remain intact. I would also like to build some new sites using Drupal. While converting the old sites I would like to build a temporary Drupal based site that can later be switched over easily to replace the existing static sites once they have been tested and debugged. I would also like to be able to have a live Drupal site and a test site where I can play with theme modifications, new modules and the like until I'm satisfied I want to move them to the live site.
On a client's website I've denied the access to uploaded files for anonymous users. Nevertheless, the anonymous user can still see the attached files by clicking the rss-feed icon at the start page of the site.
I am very new to Drupal, and this may be a ridiculous question, but I am trying to find a way to revert content to a previous version.
Let me clarify: Suppose I create a "Story". I then have version 1. I edit it and save it and then have version 2. But version 2 is messed up (say I deleted something that I actually wanted) and I want to go back to version 1.
Is it possible to record the history of a node with Drupal and revert back to any previous version? If so, how? Does Drupal save a history for each node every time it is edited?
