Post installation

Hi,
I have created the site using the drupal and create taxonomy and i want to display them on the front page for the users whether they are my site user or just they are guest what should i do with that can any body help

it urgently required pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease

First things first, I have searched the forums once already and found 2 posts dealing with this topic, however neither of them were answered. This being said, I decided to start a new thread to see if I could get a response.

Are there any other node types that can have child pages added to them. I was using book, but I've lost it because I tried to add an additional "book" type and it overwrote what I had because I guess you can only have one book. I don't have much done yet so I'll most likely reinstall drupal, but before I run into this again... can another type of content have child pages?

Taxonomy Theme allows admins to define nodes to be viewed using a particular theme, but I'd like a Theme options setting at node/x/edit that allows the author of the node set the theme. Is there a module that would provide this feature or something similar?

is there a way to have multiple break points in the same post or story, what i mean by that is say a page that can some how refer to a taxonomy and display it X way where as the other taxonomy will display a whole different short break point showing Z content for the same node or story. Okay this isnt going to work, ill let you know what i mean.

Okay i guess ill let you know what i can relate this idea to, is a site like download.com where it shows a nice picture link (i dont by any means need for a way to put this stuff in but just a way to put two different areas or coding areas that i can call on to display two totally different search result information on the same node page or say file download) or for the Popular votes on certin files and the most downloads for say the firewall area or something like that with each file displayed seperatly,

Then when you say click on ABC firewall in the firewall area in the listings to get more information on ABC it shows a different page for ABC firewall and not just from the start of the !-- break points -- in the ABC firewall listings area like on download.com say

I am testing a Drupal site on a Mac OS X 10.4.8 server. Trying to allow clients to download a file format "flp" yet it doesn't appear to work in Safari (2.0.4) but works fine in Firefox (2.0.1). When I download a .flp file in Safari it automatically puts it in a zip file but doesn't understand the file when downloads it. Any help would be really appreciated.
