How do I apply this module patch for event?

Hello, someone was kind enough to point me to this patch for the event module, which is not yet released for v5.

http://drupal.org/node/103122

I am running a fresh install of v5. How would I apply this patch so the v4.7 module will work? There don't seem to be any instructions on the patch page. Also, I'm wondering why if there is a tested, available patch for that event why the release has not been updated? Seems like a popular module.

Thanks for any help.

Tom

I'm writing from Rome Italy, My server has windows 2000 server, with PHP 4.4.2 and mysql 4.1.20 with an old version of Drupa everything works ok ,but with Drupal 4.7 and 5.1 I get the same problem:
once I have created the first account I can manage everything ok, once I get out I get the message

If I ask to change my password and I get the email back, then I can log in again, but when I log out, still I can't log in again.

is there someone capable of helping me?

Strange duplication of node's bottom information

Hi,

All of a sudden, a strange problem occurred on some node types (like book or aggregator2_feed) and the bottom of the node content is being replicated to inside the node. This hasn't happened before, no code has been changed, and it happens only on those type content types.

Drupal not detecting an index.html file inside a directory - page not found

Hello,

I created a directory under my htdocs, and put an index.html file in it. Normally, a web server should detect index.html and display it, but on my Drupal install it says "page not found".

For example, if I have www.mysite.com/dir

if there is an index.html file inside /dir I would expect the webserver to return that content.

No Modules will install?

I have successfully installed and setup Drupal and created a fairly simple blog, ..now i am looking to expand but when i download, uncompress, then upload any new modules into the module directory they do not show up in my admin section, ...

I have tried logging out and in, ..running the update.php script, and also tried this with a number of modules, ..and still nothing, ...it will not see any new modules so i have reached a dead end.

this sounds pretty simple but could not find any other examples of this problem in the help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
