I'm setting up a Drupal 5.1 site that will rely mostly on books for information. I'll be the site administrator, but several others (20-40 users) will be providing the content. I want them to be able to add pages to their own area of the site, but not have write access elsewhere.
I don't know whether to report this as a bug or a feature request, because the functionality seems to already exist, it just doesn't work.
I want anonymous users to have the ability to browse my hierarchical file structure using the fileshare module, without having access to download files.
When the access role under the fileshare mod titled "download files" is left unchecked the file browser fails to load, returning an error message stating "jah error: OK".
Has been 'playing' with this fantastic module 'views'
It has tremendous capacity to mould data in various presentations which is amazing.
Some questions :
-- I managed to crash my localhost site though cant reproduce the error ' something going wrong in the block.module ' [??] , probably I enabled the theme wizard, generated a theme for a custom view of OG module, logged out of my PC, came back - first page showed ok, on one or two clicks the site went into white page with above error message.
Hi i'm new in the community and for me is the first time that i try to create a portal in my life... So i don't know how to create some page of news where the registered user can insert their news or opinion and the new entry appears on the top (there are some modules that can do this ?)... can you help me ?
I am currently hosting a Drupal 5.1 site with site5.com and am trying to post an online magazine,
when I tried using the normal attach to post function it timed out after about 10 mins (the file is 30mb).
I uploaded via ftp to a sub directory but I cant attach it to the post.
I found a module that would do so but have been unable to install it, I placed the folder in /sites/all/modules and it appears that 5.1 should just pick it up (its picked up themes fine)
