Upgrading Drupal

Hi, I´ve got a problem with one of my sites.

I have enabled the "Locale" module but in my "Site Configuration" there´s still no "Languange" button...

Does anyone have any idea what can cause this problem?

I will be moving one of my sites to a new server soon and want to upgrade the site as well. When this is done I want to merge the information from a non drupal site in to it.

Am I correct that this is the best way to go:

Upgrade from 5.11 to the most recent 5, then to the most recent 6 on the old server and then move to the new server?
Or is there an easier route?

I have a problem in which the TinyMCE Editor disappeared. When editing content or creating new content, the only thing that could be accessed was the body block with checkboxes for filtered and full HTML (no richtext format).

I installed a development site and copied over sites/default/files, and sites/all.

After restoring the database using backup_migrate, I see all the data there and the TinyMCE editor shows up when creating new content and editing other content. However, when trying to edit "some" pages I get the following error:

Hi, I got two newbie questions about Drupal (obviously).

1. I´ve created a new content type, but how do I publish this new content type on a page I´ve created myself?
Example: I wanna publish the content of the type "Quote" on my page "http://mysite.com/node/2"

Help please?

2. There is a button named "Add new comment" below my blog entry´s, is their anyway you can rename those buttons? Want to translate them into another language.

Hi, I would like to create a slideshow in a block. I´m using the modules Slideshow Creator together with CKEditor and I have slideshow as a input format, but I can´t figure out how to make a slideshow out it, or maybe that´s just inserting images, but how do I put this content I create in a block?

I´m a beginner as you probably figured out by now, so it would be nice with some guidelines how to create a slideshow in a block!

Apologies if this is the wrong forum for this; I thought about adding it to Module Development.

Very simply, I just wondered whether there was a module available - and if there's not, I may well write one - that does a similar job to the Available Updates page - but using push notifications. That is to say, a module that hooks into Cron and sends email notifications (for example) when a module (or the core) requires an update. This would make it easier to manage multiple sites, as I do, as it would save having to manually check the corresponding report.
