Upgrading Drupal

H! I'm want to migrating my site from D7 to D9 (from this guide)

Migrations are generated by the migrate-upgrage command, moved to custom module in modules/custom/my_migrate/config/install folder.

(drush cex/move/drush cim/drush pm:enable my_migrate)

Run:

drush mim upgrade_d7_field_instance

and have many errors, ex:

I've been trying to upgrade my Drupal site from 8.9.20 to the latest  9.x version of Drupal.

There is a site on Drupal7 + Ubercart3 + some custom common-purpose and ubercart-related modules.

I trying to choose a propey way to perform upgrade to Drupal9 + Commerce2 bundle:

1) Drupal7+Ubercart3 -> Drupal7+Commerce1 -> (optional) Drupal8+Commerce2 -> Drupal9+Commerce2

2) Drupal7+Ubercart3 -> Drupal9+Commerce2

(both ways with contrib and custom migration modules of course because migration of products/orders/clients is required)

Which way would be better?

Briefly, what are the risks of staying with Drupal 7 longer than Nov. 2022?

I cannot be the only Drupal user with this basic question.

Hi Team,

I am running a Drupal 7 site since some years. It is not horrible big, but has a few thousand nodes in it as it hosts a forum.

Today I tried (once more...) to migrate to Drupal 8. Prepared the new page empty, added all the needed/available modules and then fired the migration. I am not really happy with the result though.

I brought over a relatively empty new page.

I used composer to upgrade after disabling webform, since i don't use it anyway. After composer update ran successfully, drush status shows the following:
