Unable to Save Any New Content Following Upgrade to 7.9

Would greatly appreciate any help on this -thanks in advance--I upgraded from 7.4 to 7.9 today. Now cannot save any content in pages. Am able to access content through the admin dashboard / content manager per usual, and then add, edit, change text, or content and then click save. Then, like always the page cycles and refreshes but then none of the content changes are saved. :-\

site URL: http://www.ieec.asia/

Following similar posts on the forum i tried checking the Status Reports but can not access it -I get the follow error when I try:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function taxonomy_form() in/home/content/19/7290819/html/ieecsg/modules/form_builder/modules/taxonomy.inc on line 235

I can check Logs and there are a list of errors (too many to list here) but the first three (and others) refer to content:

Notice: Undefined variable: link in include() (line 375 of/home/content/19/7290819/html/ieecsg/themes/ieec/page.tpl.php).

Notice: Undefined variable: sitemap in nav_recurse() (line 161 of/home/content/19/7290819/html/ieecsg/themes/ieec/page.tpl.php).

There was a problem checking available updates for Drupal.

Hello,
I am a Drupal beginner and sorry for my bad English language.
When I run the cron I have two messages alerts (as title) in status report: first in Drupal core update status, second in Module and theme update status.
I don't know why. Is it a bad 7.9 upgrade ? Is the setting.php file not changed for this upgrade the origin ? Can I replace it now ?
Could you help me ?

Can not upgrade modules: no input file specified

Hello,

I'm trying to update the modules from web admin interface.

It started to fail with the message (after successful (?) module download): no input file specified.

This message is displayed for several minutes if I try to open the site. From any computer. But the failure is not persistent.
Site magically starts to work again in several mins. But the module is not updated - it is still in the list of the modules which should be updated.

Any idea what can be the root cause?

Thanks in advance.
