Upgraded several moduals - messaging no longer working properly

Hi,

I have upgraded my site core files to the latest stable copy of 6.X (6.22). Most things work properly but for some reason I can no longer get messaging to function properly. Although it does work and sends out e-mails when I post a new forum topic and hit the save key I get a code dump on my screen..

In the log I get the following error message.

Tried to upgrade from 6 to 7 and now I have NO SITE

I have no idea what happened. I upgraded from 6.19 to 6.22, no problem. Then I went straight into upgrading to 7.1 - never took the site out of maintenance mode, never re-enabled any modules, kept the theme as Garland.

It seemed like it worked at first, no error messages, and then I clicked through to my admin pages. I got some error about undefined property in Garland for block, and none of the menu links would work. I couldn't get into any admin pages at all, couldn't get out of maintenance mode, nothing. I looked in the forums; nothing useful, or at least nothing I understood to be the same problem as I was having.

So I thought maybe something had gone funky with my database, or my settings. I tried to compare settings.php to my backup... and realized my server had not backed up that file. It had only backed up one of the several items I had intended to back up (note to self: always check that backup includes ALL files). No worries. I know how settings.php works. It seemed fine - right password, all that. I tried restoring the backup of my database.

And now I'm getting... a page of gibberish. I have no idea what this means. My site: http://www.mouthybitch.com

I tried deleting everything and re-installing, but the installer tells me I already have Drupal installed. Can anyone tell me what happened and how I can fix it?

Please help. Site is in maintenance mode.

Hi , I have upgraded from D7.8 to D7.10, following the instructions in:

http://drupal.org/node/1223018#comment-5355244.

But now I locked myself outside.

After running the update script (step 6) I want to proceed into my fresh site (step 7). But then I continue to get the message that my site is in maintenance mode ! This happens also when I follow the link to the administration pages that appears right after running the update script.

What's the best way of working on a Drupal site offline and synchronising my changes with the live site later?

Hi. This is probably a very basic question so if there is a page somewhere in the docs that I've missed please let me know...

At the moment I administer a Drupal site and make all my changes and content additions "live" on the site. But is there an easy way to make changes to an identical installation on my home PC, and when finished, synchronise the changes with the live site?

(And is there an approach that would also do the reverse - synchronise any changes made on the live site to the site on my local PC?)

How to keep my Google rank when I upgrade from Drupal 4 to 7 and change my gallery module?

Hi, I'm running a site using Drupal 4, and want to upgrade it, without losing Google rankings...

The site is a business, and consists mostly of images of the products we sell (not a shopping cart, just images). Back when I set the site up, I used the module "Acidfree" for the image gallery, which works great. And Google ranks each of the images in Acidfree quite highly, which drives a lot of traffic to us.
