hi
Is updating core of drupal to press flow like upgrading to new version of drupal core?
won't occur any problem in my sql data base or in content or....?
thanks for your help
i just successfully upgraded my site from drupal 6 to 7, however, even though my custom content type of MUSIC was successfully upgraded and all its nodes as well, none of the nodes include the music file attached as an upload from the previous version
also the cck image uploads have not been converted either!!
i have over 3000 music files so theres no way i can attach them manually, what do i do? is there any reason why it didnt import the files attachments? is it because i did something wrong or is that just how it works ?
My colleagues and I have been building an intranet site using Drupal 6 and OG 2.x
Looking further into using LDAP (AD actually) to authenticate users and provide user info that will allow us to create groups using OG, it seems that Drupal 7 will make the process of working with the LDAP server much easier.
We are not sure whether OG 1.x for D7 is as completely developed as OG 2.x for D6. I can't seem to find a list of the features for each to compare.
I’m a non techie getting to grips with the basics of drupal and am fairly confident using/enabling/configuring modules etc on Drupal 7 (Thanks to it being SO user-friendly) . I’m also familiar with accessing the folders in the web hosts file manager, extracting them/moving them etc…but not with linux commands!
I need to update from 7.10 to 7.14 but am stumped by the instructions here: http://drupal.org/node/1223018 (half way down section on minor upgrades)
After a mamoth effort I finally got the passwords to access the hosting for a site which looks like it was set up in 2009 (but mabe earlier). I am totally ignorant about Drupal. But this site cannot stay on this server - the hosting company are just too difficult to deal with.
I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right thing. I found an UPGRADE.txt file which is headed // $Id: UPGRADE.txt,v 1.12 2008/01/04 16:15:58 goba Exp $
Does this mean I am using Drupal 1.2 ? Surely not?
