[solved] Undefined index custom_search_form_alter() custom_search.module

Hello,

I had that king of message when i upgraded from D6 to D7.

I first thought it came from Views : the benefit is I registered every Page, Block, flux, for each View where data were ony temporarily stocked.

Then I went to the Custom Search Module and I updated the configuration (without any patch) ...

... and that's all !

Enjoy Drupal ;-)

Upgrading multi-sites from Drupal 6 to 7

I have been working on upgrading our main site to Drupal 7 for a number of months now, and during that time we have added two multi-sites to our Drupal 6 installation. I am now attempting to figure out how to add those sites to my Drupal 7 testing environment and upgrade them. I searched around and was unable to find specific instructions for upgrading a multi-site, so I basically used the upgrade path for a regular installation. I disabled all non-core modules, set themes to garland, and put the site in maintenance mode.

Image Galleries and Images attached to node are not showing after update

Hi Friends,

I am doing a upgrade of my site for NGO on local installation on Windows 7. I have completed most of the procedures of the upgrade, however, I am stuck up with a problem with Images Content type. (Upgrade from Drupal 6.19 to 6.26). I am also required to upgrade around 25 contributed modules and also a Mix and Match theme upgrade. After the upgrade most of the things are working OK but I am having following problem.

Explaination of Drupal 7 Upgrade

If I move forward with a drupal 7 upgrade (currently using drupal 6), does that mean the entire site starts from scratch? Or are programmers able to utilize a lot of the code they wrote before but make small variations to hook things into drupal 7?

I have a lot of custom modules and I am just trying to understand if literally I need to start from scratch again, or if code can be grabbed from a drupal 6 site, modified, and put into drupal 7?

Which files exactly are the "original install profile?"

Under the "Minor Version Upgrade" instructions (see: http://drupal.org/node/1223018), the instructions say to:

"Remove all old core files and directories, except for the 'sites' directory, the original install profile in the 'profiles' directory and any custom files you added elsewhere."
