update.php did not go smoothly, I think one or more of my tables got broken...
Most pages were giving me a `can't find function user_access' error, I fixed that manually by using drupal_load(...) in modules.inc
Now, I get stuck in
Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in /home/web/includes/form.inc on line 342
no idea where this is coming from, and which database is hosed.
the big issue I have is that I cannot go back to a `clean' database simply, since I don't have an easy access to
backup and migrate, as I can't even login for now...
Hello all, i want to upgrade my local drupal 5.7(with more then 700 nodes) to drupal 6.0, i already searched the forums here and the faqs and i cant find a tutorial how to do it :(
I'm in the process of upgrading a site that used Drupal 4.6.6 to Drupal 6.0. To try and ease the process, I've upgraded most of the modules we used to drupal 6.0 (and will finish doing so either by converting myself or converting the code to use a contributed module by the time the site relaunches) - however, my question concerns the core set of modules which have gone through significant changes. Does anyone have any ideas on how to upgrade the database tables to the new structure?
Upgrade RC4 to Official release. Copied new files as instructed and tried to run update.php resulted in page not found. Did a fresh install and typed in site.com/update.php still resulted in page not found.
I have searched forum and was unable to find any relevant information. Please forward me to any helpful topics that you may know of, thanks =)
Scenario
A town I live in, with a striving art community, was aiming for a local art Social Network. A friend of mine took the initiative to start the project (long before I knew him). He successfully acquired city grants (as much as 12 thousand I think) and mass Community support. The initial problem, however, was finding someone to complete the website for this project. The city recommended a local company. Not knowing of anyone else capable of handling a task this large, he hired them; Nothing expensive, they were only $140/hour. He didn't know any better.
