Hi there after my first attempt about a year ago to upgrade my drupal website in d7 to d8 (local for testing purpose) I tried it again today with a better result then a year ago. looks promissing.
I have to add or change some modules/fields which I use on the D7 version, and I think the result should deliver me a 80% upgrade for all nodes.
But now my question: After the Upgrade there was not any view from the D7 imported, I know the views are now part of the core, but does that mean I have to rebuild al views by Hand ?
Made a view named "Info" to have all content tagged "info" shown on one page, but only with one field from the contents:
"title" as link to the content, NOTHING more.
Named the page and the menu-link "info"
Result: Page always shows titles and teasers with "read more"-link. I do not want this.
When i change the name of the menu-link in the view-setting to "fuck", the page is shown as intended.
But this is a dev-name, i would like to name it "info", pleases the audience more than "fuck".
How do I figure out how wide the images need to be to fit in the sliding images feature on the homepage? I'm not a developer so just trying to learn this on my own. thx!
