Drupal 8.x

Hi Drupal community,

I am not sure is the error happened when migrating to 8.6 or after, but in any case it is still happening with Drupal core 8.6.7 and 8.6.8.

Hi guys, I really could use some help/advice. I'm trying to install the latest build on a webserver from our hosting provider. Previous drupal version (7x) was running fine. I've cleaned the database and all the folders. Installation starts and after selecting the main language I'm able to select the installation profile standard, minimum etc. After making any installation profile selection and choosing save and continue I'm back at the language selector dialog and it keeps going like that.

I have no clue whats going wrong. Thanks for any kind of advice.

So, I originally installed D8.6.4 from a tar.gz file and it worked fine.  I now would like to upgrade to ensure that my site is secure and such, and after reading a whole load of documents, I opted for composer, using the "composerize" option.

I have cli access, I installed composerize without incident, I followed (I thought!) the instructions, composerize did its thing apparently successfully, (I ran "composer composerize-drupal" with the root and drupal root dirs listed).  It did not throw errors.

But at that point my site turned into a white page. 

I have just installed a fresh development site using a theme that was provided with codebase and database file.

The site works fine.
The version of the installed Drupal is 8.6.5 which I want to upgrade to the latest version (currently 8.6.7)

The provided codebase contains a composer.json file.

So I would like to upgrade using composer.
