Drupal/WordPress comparison

Hi! I'd like to ask a super basic but very important question for me. I'm running a review website on WordPress and continuously expand it with new content. The problem is I observ the performance decline with every several pages I add. My question is for those who gave up WP for the Drupal: is there a noticeable difference in the page loading speed after the mentioned transition? In general, what are the pros/cons of both systems from your perspective? Please, answer only from your personal experience.

Thanks,

Luis

Database Exception: Order by clause not in select list incompatible with Distinct

Hello,

On my server in prod, I have a table where we can sort the columns. This works very well on the prod.
On the other hand, on another server there is the same site to be able to test the updates etc. Here the painting does not work anymore. When I want to sort, I have this error that goes back to Drupal.

Backuping up files before update

Hi,
I am following this guide to update my Drupal website: https://www.drupal.org/docs/8/update/update-core-manually. On step 1 it is written to back up files and database. I have backed up the database but I dont know how to back up the files because I dont know where to find them. I have SFTP access to my website files.

Where do I find my Drupal-website files which I should back up?
