Hello,
I installed XAMMP (xampp-win32-5.6.21-0-VC11-installer.exe), I created a folder called htdocs docuriti and I copied it drupal 8.1.2
I created the database and the user.
In the sites folder I copied the file as example.settings.local.php default / settings.local.php
and in sites / default I copied the files in default.services.yml services.yml and default.settings.php in settings.php
No matter which content type I use, when I go to preview it displays on the home page with no button to return to the original input page so I can save it. I have to use the browsers back button to get there. Is there another way?
I noticed in another installation of Drupal 8.1.2 that there is a return button in the upper left corner to permit returning to the original edit page. What is my other installation of Drupal 8.1.2 missing? They are both installed on xampp. Both installations came from the same tar.gz file.
Dear all
We are currently moving our webportal from 6.2. to 8 with lots of problems. We gave up an automated content migration and do it manually.
I had the the avatar blocks installed in the left sidebar in Drupal 6. https://www.drupal.org/project/avatar_blocks/releases
Is there a comparable solution ready in Drupal 8 to collect basic user information and and a face pile for logged in users?
How does it work?
Hi everybody,
I'm using zircon free theme for my drupal 8.1.2. After creating a custom content type, when i try to create content of that type, on clicking "Save and publish", i always get the error "The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later." on a blank screen.
I tried creating same content type on a fresh D8 install and everything worked perfectly.
Please help.
Any reason why they won't. Site: historic-mideast.org, template: default Bartik, menu items enabled. I have switched to another theme (integrity) and lost view of menu itmes, then returned to Bartik but they still do not appear. They are enabled and assigned "0" weight. The site is still a fresh installation. Thank you... ka
Hi, I am in early stages of Migrating a large 6.20 site to 8.1. I have a 8.1 installed on a development server and the 6.20 and its copy on a live server in a different location. I exported the 320MB (uncompressed) Drupal database with phpMyAdmin and tried to import on the new development server running Php 5.6.22 and MySQL 5.5.44 and my intention to run the Drupal Upgrade module.
However the Drupal 6 db won't import and I get the following error message:
Unable to import the drupal dump:
