Hi, I'm failing in installing Drupal 8.1.6 on a Ubuntu machine (Apache/2.4.7, Php5.5.9). The installation was started after just downloading the tar.gz from ftp.drupal.org
I hope the issue is simple but I could not find an answer anywhere.
Drupal 8 is running and I can login to admin by using an url "domain.com/user/login".
However if I use "www.domain.com/user/login" the login page appears, I can submit my password but then I get "Access denied" error. How can I configure drupal to use pages with www prefix?
Currently the default contact form usability is really bad. Once the contact form has been submitted it redirects the user to the frontpage without a (system) message displayed to inform the site visitor that the contact form has been successfully sent.
Is there a way to include this?
I know you can add a redirection in the contact settings page but this is equally just as bad as you have to create a standard page (which is accessible to search engines). Or users can still access the page by url.
I'm gonna to run my own video sharing website like Youtube, I know that i can use http://clipbucket.com PHP-script but i want to use Drupal 8 ( because of Rest full web service and security).
I need these Social networking Features too:
like Channels, Collections, Friends, Messages & Feeds, etc.
