Drupal 8.x

I am new to Drupal and have recently done 3 installs of Drupal 8.1.7/8 and came across an interesting problem: on my local development install and personal web pages all seems OK but on another site, which unlike the others uses SSL, the CKEditor reffuses to show. Same result on different Win10 PCs using ff47, ff48 and ie11.

I see there is a Blog module for D8 that was laast modified in April 2016.

I need the blog feature. My concern is if I use that module, at some point, it will no longer be maintained.

What should I use for blogs?

Frankly, I believe the blog feature should be in core.

i want to send an html-newsletter which include one or more images with Drupal 8.1.7. What kind of modules can i use?

What i have tried:

simplenews
mime mail
mailsystem

but when i set the mime mail as formatter for my emails and "full_html" as format-type it doesnt send any emails only the message appears "email couldnt be send"

is there any solution to send html

I want to use jQuery Datepicker, so I tried to add it as a dependency in my theme's library.
I used something like that:

I just update my drupal from 8.1.7 to 8.1.8, and after switching the files, as the process is written, I tried to run the update.php, but then that message appeared :"The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later." I tried to make the changes in the settings.php, but it didn't do anything.
I use OVH to and filezila to host and import my files and website.

I would gladly appreciate if you could tell me what is wrong with that ?
