I must start off saying that i'm no Drupal expert, or anything close.
But i find it very simple to work with,
Right now i'm having some troubles with the images on the page, every image i upload gives me a broken link (even for the logo), i've tried accesing the /sites/default/files/ but it shows me a "403 forbidden" even though i'm logged as the Admin.
Studying migration in D8. I already have custom module of a custom migration working. I can successfully migrate an existing D6 site into D8.
My goal now is to fine tune the migration for a specific content-type. I want to migrate its nodes into (1) of (2) different content-types based on its existing URL-alias. Existing nodes within a certain URL-alias range would become one content type, while others outside this range would be migrated into a second content-type.

I never used Drupal before, it's my first time.

But now I'm facing a problem.
My homepage title is: Welcome to my site name | my site name
What should I do for remove Welcome to and the duplicate title my site name? It seems I can't find anything in configuration
I'm new to Drupal - just set up Drupal 8 running locally on xammp and read "Beginning Drupal 8".
I want to build a website for the chorus association I'm part of, with a member area where you can register your chorus, add members, concert dates and so on. So in "Beginning Drupal 8" content is about things to publish like articles, but I've got the feeling that I'll rather need another kind of content. Here's an example:
