Does the "Metatag" module yeild worthwhile SEO results?

Hi!

I am wondering if it is worth it to install the Metatag module to my website? Suppose I don't? Would my SEO performance be OK? Or, would the Metatag module result in significantly improved SEO performance? Without the Metatag module, how are metatags derived by the website anyway?

Thanks,
Richard

Loading content from Drupal 7 into Drupal 8

Dear all,
I have a small Drupal website (350 nodes) that I'd like to migrate from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8. I thought it would be easy, but unfortunately it seems quite difficult. I have some experience with the Feeds Import module, which has a nice UI, but that one has not been ported to Drupal 8 yet.

D8: "Call me" button for mobile

Hello people. Can anyone point me to a module that adds a Call Me feature, similar to the same feature on Instagram?

Basically, on the mobile view of my site, I want a button/link that, when clicked, will automatically open the user's mobile dialing pad with my number already marked, so all the user has to do is push the dial button.

Is this a possibility with Drupal 8?

Contact Categories

In Drupal 7, you could add Categories to the Contact page/form, so a user/visitor could send a message, and choose where it went. (IE, Website Feedback -Msg goes to webmaster@mydomain.com; Sales Questions - Msg goes to sales@mydomain.com, etc.) But it appears that has been taken out in Drupal 8. Is there a way to put this back into the Drupal 8 contact page?

Documentation

I have a very strong request to make of the Drupal 8 documentation team. Please stop mentioning Drupal 7 on ever Doc.

The first and perhaps biggest problem is that it's watering down the Drupal 7 search results.

The second reason is that if I was looking for information on Drupal 8 "the old way to do it" would be a distraction and the information version of clutter. I understand the desire to bring folks along from Drupal 7, but "how things used to work" is irrelevant when trying to figure out how to make things work now.

change site logo on custom view/page

Hey people,

First time building a site in Drupal.
I'm having trouble changing the logo in my Bootstrap subtheme.

I uploaded a custom logo in the subtheme settings. If I go to the homepage of my site, this custom logo is displayed.
However, if I open a custom view via a menu-link, the default Bootstrap logo is still shown.

How can I display the custom logo on all my views?

Thx!
