Hope i'am in the right section....

I am a junior developer and I work on a Drupal 8 project with two other people. None of us know Drupal really well.
We work locally on our computer Wamp / PhpStorm / browser and GIT as version manager.

I can not figure out how to work to several persons with each database.
For php and file management, GIT is ok, but knowing that the configuration is stored in base, as each developer works locally, how to pool our SQL produced in mysql?

I've successfully installed the colorbox modul in my first Drupal 8 Installation.
The difference to Drupal 7 is now, that there is no insert button. So I can only insert one image.
The second problem is, that I cannot see the inserted image while I edit the page.
Does someone has experiences with the colorbox in Drupal 8?

Hi,

I am doing a fresh install of Drupal 8. I read that Composer is the way to go to manage dependencies, etc.

I have spent the past two days installing Composer and getting past all of the newbie issues with my web server.

So, I need a little help figuring out where to actually install the Composer template.

With the command: "composer create-project drupal-composer/drupal-project:8.x-dev some-dir --stability dev --no-interaction" where do I actually go on my remote server?

The products in the store I am creating are simple and have no attributes (no size, no color, etc). Given that, it appears that I have two ways I can have an image for each product when creating it:

1) in the body, using Full HTML and inserting it there

2) create a separate image field for the products

Based on your experiences, which is the better method and why?

All of the documentation and comments I've read so far point to installing the Commerce UPS module. But the information on that module's page says that it has not been ported to Drupal 8.

Does that mean that if a client currently ships via UPS and the costs are calculated based on weight and size, then Commerce 2.x cannot be used for a website that is being built for them in Drupal 8? Is there an ETA for completion?
