Drupal 8.x

I purchased and downloaded the CharityPlus theme,
themeforest-19127475-charityplus-multipurpose-nonprofit-charity-organization-drupal-8-template.zip

I went into Drupal.8.4.5 to Appearance->Install new theme and pointed to the .zip file.

I hit Install.  The system cycled for a while and then hit 100% installed.

However, when I went back to the installed themes, this particular theme didn't appear and there were no related files in the drupal/themes directory.

Any ideas of what might be causing this or things I can try?

I have several questions about this error. I have done a lot of searching, but not really finding clear answers.

1. why is it listed as a cron error (it's an error generated by an anonymous user)?

2. what is best practice to prevent direct access to old image file that no longer exist?  

3. Drupal doesn't intercept and route all incoming traffic to node or pages/files not found?  (if not, should it or not?) 

4. why is the error InvalidArgumentException and not just file not found (make it seem like Drupal has a bug)?

Any idea about how to create a module with terms in two levels in drupal 8?

Complete  newbie to Drupal, Ive always used WP or Joomla (strike me down Satan..)

But anyway, Ive been asked to help a friend who works for a wildlife charity, that insist the website has to be in Drupal 8.  

Basically they need some sort of interactive map functionality, eg a map of Alaska - you click on an area and it displays, what animals live there, you can then drill down to other info like rivers, temp, conservation info etc .

I have installed Domain Access with no problems but when I try to configure it this is where I am hitting a brick wall.

I have over 250 clubs and want each club to have it own sub-domain (example aberdeen.afvbc.com)

I have added the domain to the Configuration/Domain Records

I have also added it to the page which I want to use.

When I try to view the page it is saying page not found, anyone got any pointers for this please.
