Drupal 8.x

I'm working with Drupal version 8.3.2 and I applied manually the patch for the SA-CORE-2018-004 as is described in the Drupal Official documentation. Unfortunatelly after having restart my site, into the Drupal Admin console is yet reported it as a Security update must to do.

I double checked the 2 files updated (core/lib/Drupal/Core/Security/RequestSanitizer.php and core/modules/file/src/Element/ManagedFile.php) and their content are the expected ones.

I also cleaned the cache from the Drupal Admin console, but nothing changes

Hi All,

I have created one node for front page and set alias to "/home" and assigned this node in the settings. Now when i load the front-page, I am seeing more than one canonical tags, like below

<link rel="canonical" href="http://xxxx.com/uk" />
<link rel="canonical" href="/uk/home" />

I tried in Meta tags under Global and Front page but nothing solves the issues. Also i tried to remove the duplicate one from attachement_alter but it is showing only one canonical tag.

I am trying to update modules available for my drupal installation. This is the following error message:

• Warning: fileowner(): stat failed for temporary://update_UIAWPd in update_manager_local_transfers_allowed() (line 932 of /home/u/u0746312/www/fif/modules/update/update.manager.inc).
• The file could not be created.

On D8, I've been spending the last couple days trying to understand methods of importing content from a D7 exported csv file, since migrate didn't work - it imported everything but the actual content. 

I am going nuts trying to get D8 Open Social to work - in particular I can't get Private Files working.

I've tried following various Private Files instructions to no avail.

$80 to someone who can make a nice video of the process, from start to finish, and put on YouTube so I can copy and get it working. And hopefully it will help others too. A running commentary explaining the how and why would be good too.
