I am inquiring for any help that someone is willing to give with this issue that I am having. Does anyone know if it is possible to have a filter for taxonomy terms that the user can see? I'm trying to show the user a dropdown box or check boxes in a block, and then on the backend filter the news or event list based on their filter categories. Thank you for any help.

I am fairly new to Drupal and would like to ask for some suggestions on the route to achieve what I need to have done.

I have inherited a D8 site. On the site there is a region which works as a sub footer and contains a contact form (embedded into a block via a script).

I would like to be able to have a checkbox on the node edit pages of my content types that when checked will make sure the region is displayed. If it is not ticked the region will not display.

I'm displaying product image fields and title fields in views slideshow.

I added css to display them inline, and it works if there is only one product. But if I add at least one more product, then initially it is displayed inline for a moment, but then it jumps back to a vertical alignment.

I created a css class at the style settings for the views fields.
