Multilingual Forum

Hi All,
I am new to Drupal. I want to build a multilingual forum (english + 3 asian languages) and wonder how I can do this...
Should I install three different copies of Drupal with 3 different databases? or are there simpler ways to achieve this? Please help me find information on this if you can.
Thank you.

Training site

Hello all, I've tried asking this in the Education group but is seems to have pretty low trafic.

I am in the planning stage developing an flash based training site and am trying to determine whether to use Drupal (DrupalEd) or Moodle as the back end.

The key requirements that are causing me problems are that there must be a way for a new course manager to sign up and have a course created automatically for them based on a pre-defined template, however, each course manager can only have one course. All courses need to be private so the course manager will have to enroll the participants in their course and participants will only be allowed to be enrolled in one course and I must be able to put a limit on the number of participants in a course. Also, the "Create Content" interfaces are a bit to complex for the audience of the site so I will have to find a way to simplify the forms.

A course will consist of a number of flash based quizzes that would be selected from a list of pre-made quizzes and are all pass/fail.

I have set up current versions of DrupalEd and Moodle and, as a starting point, Moodle seems to be a bit more user friendly for the course mangers but less flexible.

Any thoughts about how to accomplish these "sticking points" or advice on which platform would be more appropriate for my needs would be greatly appreciated.

Downloading old versions of Drupal

I am currently looking for old versions of drupal (as in 3.x, 2.x, 1.0, 1.0 RC or beta). The download page only has releases to 4.5. Is there another way to find these old versions.

A company website with product pages, Flash and versatile search capabilities - possible in Drupal? Help!

Hi, I'm new to Drupal and quite new to open source CMS's in general so I apologize in advance to some stupid newbie questions I might ask (tried looking through the "Before you start" section, but couldn't seem to find direct answers to my needs there and I prefer first-hand accounts and experiences to official documentation anyway:) So here's the thing, my client wants a website for a new lineup of products they're about to release. They have a pretty good idea of what they want on the site but I'm having a hard time choosing the right CMS for the job (I've narrowed down the list of possible CMS's to a few from the dozens or so open source options that are available). So basically I want to know, if Drupal is capable of the following features (and if so, what modules do you suggest?):

- Fully (and easily) customizable page layout and look (the graphic designer hasn't unveiled the envisioned layout to me yet but I'm scared already :) )
- Ability to incorporate Flash into some of the pages quite easily
- Easy to add/update product pages with different customizable categories
- Search within the product pages based on 3-4 different attributes (eg. the age the product is aimed for, product type..)
- Different search for product tips section (although this might be possible to be implemented in some different way if need be)

Will it passible with drupal 6.2?
