I have a site (http://www.jetreports.com/) with 13 territories in 5 languages ( all in HTML and would love to transition to something like Drupal. My needs are somewhat simple:
- I need to cut down on duplicate content while being able to expand into more territories (for now... 13 sites into one where the only thing that changes are the languages and territory specific information; class schedules, contact information and marketing campaigns run through a header or flash banner)
I'm about to create a website for one of my close friends who set up her own business and that is a dancing school.
I'll be creating this for more then reasonable price, more or less for free...but anyway I need to know a couple of things:
I'm looking to add the following functionality to a pre-exisiting site that already has an in-house CMS:
Blog
Forum
User Comments
Photos
For all new functionality, we'll need to be able to create multiple levels of moderation. We'll also need to have spam blocking and current objectionable/offensive content filtering.
The blog will need to allow for multiple authors.
The user comments will be attached to previous existing content in addition to new blog content.
I'm wondering if drupal is right for me. I need to create a newsletter submission and publishing site. The newsletter will have posts in various categories. The newsletter editor will need to sort the order the categories and the posts within the category. Category order could change week to week. I'm new to drupal, during my research, I came across simplenews, but I fail to see how the editor could rearrange posts/categories.
