Before you start

I am wondering if anyone has developed a site that provided for a user to create an account (core function), then a profile (perhaps CCK configuration), and limited the user's scope to creating/editing only one profile.

The problem I am encountering is: Once a user creates a profile as 'new content,' they can create another and another and another. The idea is to create a personal profile only once....then edit it subsequently.

I am new to drupal.
I have create a form in FCK wditors with 3-4 fieds(Name,Email,Phone, and Message), I want to make all the fields mandatory, how to use Java script in that or is there some other way to do that,

I am making a form called post query, When User click on submit then a mail should fire with all the fields value to the administrator and a "Thank You'" should display to the user.

Please help that how I can achieve this in drupal.

Hi all,

I have installed the photo album module, when I browse the image and upload then it is always giving me error that only "JPEG,GIF and PNG " allowd even I have tried with all the three formats, but every time I am getting this error, please help me to resolve this, do I have to change some setting for this, please help me.

The folowing errorr It is giving..

"The selected file 640x480_scale_thumb_IMG_0148.jpg could not be uploaded. Only JPEG, PNG and GIF images are allowed.
"

Hi,

I want to create a form in right sidebar of my page, like of contact page with 3-4 fields, I have tried but Label has shown on the front end but the text box for name,email and phone and meesage not visible, please help me in how can I add a small contact form in right side bar.

I am about to setup a website for a school.

The school have departments with their own admins. The department admins needs to be able to create content for their part of the site but not have access to the main site or other departements.
New departements are added a few times per year so the superadmin should be able to create new departments quite easily.

To make things more complicated, the departments have teachers with limited access to creating content.
