Before you start

I'm beginning to work on a non-profit site where users will register to play online arcade games (Java Applets), log high scores, comment on games and gaming news articles, participate in forums and so on. I'm new to Drupal but I'm an experienced web (Java, PHP) developer and could build a bespoke site from scratch. I thought I would first spend some time investigating if Drupal could save me some time though, as it comes with built in user management, commenting, blogs and forums etc.

I am using Wordpress at the moment but in order for it to be a mobile website I have to install a plugin and do some other configuring, so I was wondering before I switch over to Drupal for my website if it was mobile phone ready or if more tweaks have to be done to it?

I want to create a small form with fields(Name,Email,Phone and Message)and I want to use that form in right side bar, on click of submit button an email should go to the adminwith all the details.

Please Help me how to do that.

My company does online advertising for small businesses. We notice half of these businesses do not even have websites while the rest have poorly designed and maintained sites. We are looking at creating easy to maintain websites for these businesses to improve traffic.

1. They are to be hosted on our server but should use their domain name. We are looking at ~100 domains. Can Drupal help us manage across domains?

I have taken the plunge and installed Drupal and begun the process of learning it. There is still one goal of mine that I am not sure is already solved by an existing module or set of modules.

What I want to do is provide HTML content that has an embed functionality. We see it everywhere, YouTube, GoogleMaps, etc...

For instance, one use I want is so that I can create a Flash game. Within my Drupal site I can upload that Flash content and make it available for anyone to play. Yet I also want to provide them with an embed tag that lets them drop it in their website too.

I'm trying to find a CMS to use to build a Dating Agency site.

We want to be able to create profiles for 'daters' that we can add and remove simply and have a main page that shows photos of the 'daters'.

No user login, no blog or forum.

Would Drupal be good for this or not?
