Apologies if this has been asked and answered before, but my search came up empty. Is it possible to rename all instances of "node,'' especially the subdirectory, to something else? I'm more than willing to do a search-and-replace in the code if people think this is feasible and not too dangerous. The word "node'' just doesn't do it for me. Thanks.
I have a sandbox site set up, but I am wondering what would be the dangers from a security perspective to let the community use such a site... ??? I just want the concerns laid out so I can address them before making the Sandbox public. Sandbox, btw, is a demo site for Drupal with administrative control that users can play with.
What does Drupal to toward enabling sites using Drupal to be compliant with WAI and similar accessability standards?
I did search the site but was unable to find anything. With governments and other organisations pushing for accessibility standards to be complied with, if Drupal allows accessible sites to be built using it, it could be a big 'selling' point.
I know in the upload module I can upload files in /files/file.zip
But I need only show link to file like: blabla.com/winamp/winamp1.rar and on index page shows "1 atachment" utt.
Also I need to upload file to another directory, like /blabla/file.zip /bumbum/file.rar
Hi
I'm a newbie to drupal.
Before I install it, I'd like to know if it's suitable for my project.
I want to run a free hosted sites/blogs service, and get some revenues from putting adsense ads in each of these sites/blogs that I host.
My questions are:
* In multi-sites, does each site have its own admin? and can I control the powers given to them? for example: disk space, max upload size, and what themes and plugins/modules are available to them and whats not?
