I'm hoping someone can help me ...

I need a site where the registration process gives the option to belong to different User Groups

ie .. they sign up with name and email and will belong to usergroup1 or usergroup2 or usergroup3 etc

Is this possible?

Would also need to assign certain people to two or more user groups

Is this possible?

Would appreciate any help available.

i have read several manuals on how to convert from postnuke to drupal. It seems to be that none of them actually work. Some sort of errors allways pop up when executing the scipts.

Now, has someone successfully managed to convert from Postnuke 0.76 to Drupal 4.6??
If so, please let us know how you did it.

Hi, I hope this is in the right area. I have 2 questions before I install Drupal. First, when a user attaches a picture to their blog, is there a way to make it automatically show the picture (instead of having a link to it at the bottom of the blog)? My second question is, does Drupal have the ability to automatically create thumbnails from images?

I was under the impression that Drupal supported photo galleries including upload by multiple users. Now that I've got it sort of installed (some unresolved PHP errors), it's not at all obvious to me that Drupal does support this.

Can someone tell me what kind of support Drupal does provide? I don't want to spend any more time on trying to resolve installation errors if it doesn't support photo galleries.

Hi.. my server is set at PHP version 4.3.2 and MySql version 3.23.58
Can you tell me which version of drupal to use? 4.6 will not work.

hi, i have installed IIS+PHP+MySQL

i have drupal in my websites but all the configuration done automatically by cpanel.
i wanted to modify all the module+theme before i submit to my host.

when i run drupal script, the browser says error in line 31 , in /includes/mysql.inc(forgotten the actual file names)

can any one give me some idea? i search many websites regarding mysql but they provided me with all the mysql syntax only. without teaching me how to link it.

do i need phpmyadmin to connect it?
