Hello All and thanks for taking the time to read this,

I want to make a site where people can make groups. Ok Everyone wants that these days.

I am different in that I want people to be able to hide their profile, blog, and any other personal information from people not in their groups.

I would like to have groups have their own private forum (phpBB) and thier own private galleries.

I would love if the users could have a wordpress Blog and choose if it is public or priviate or semi private (Group access).

I have read a lot and looked at many CMSs and I'm a bit confused. I have never installed a CMS before.
I have a site in mind and I need to find a CMS that suits me out of the box or with a few, easy to install, addons.
What I need is this:

I'm looking for advise on Drupal's suitability for the below:

- Browsing thru a catalogue, users select video to play
- Whilst the video plays (in streamed .wmv format) they can read text which relates to the video... the video is in a frame or whatever so that no matter how long the text, it doesn't scroll off the page
- Also, the text contains links, which the user can follow to read even more text... yet the video plays on regardless as they do so

Would I need particular modules for this or is it quite straightforward?
