Is there any i18 version for drupal 4.7?

Which is the recomended version for i18 at this momment? The last stable one is ok to run the patches?

I'm once again considering switching to a new CMS. I've tried Mambo, Joomla, And PHP Nuke. They have many of the features I need, but are lacking at least one function I need. So, that's why I'm here. Here's a link to my site www.ticklethemuse.com , we are just starting out. Our old site closed and I decided I couldn't let my friends to be without an internet home. Tickle the Muse is a site for writers, musicians, and artists and there are very specific things we need to work correctly. Right now we are only 28 in number, but I plan on spidering to the search engines once I have the site established and functioning on its own without constantly searching for this component, that component, this module, that module, etc. I need to get back to my own writing. Site building is not my primary passion, but I learn quick and have some experience with PHP because of the other CMS's I've tried.
Here's a list of what I need my site to do. #6 being the MOST important.

1. I must be able to transfer all existing content, users, passwords, forum posts , and any pm's from Mambo 4.5.3h to Drupal 4.7.

2. I have Facile Forms with xtdratings. I need to be able to use the form I have or quickly create another. (I do see the form module for Drupal.)

3. Users need to have their own personal blog or journal separate from story content and a profile page.

4. I also have artists and musicians. I'd like the image/mp3 uploads availble to them. (I'm pretty sure I can do this with Drupal. :) )

I'm working on a news site and I like to add few terms that are similar for few vocabularies.
for example:
the vocabulary sports got soccer , tennis & yoga.
the vocabulary lifestyle got design, vications and yoga
NOW - that's yoga that should be a single term (with single node count and every thing).
is it possible and if so, how ?

I'm using 'clean URL' to avoid users the mess with my site. How can I avoid the links from displayed in the status line (bottom browser window) ?

I spent quite a few hours comparing typo3 and drupal. I concluded that drupal meets my needs better. I do think typo3 does some things well that drupal can emulate. for example, typo3 has a "new to typo3" button prominently on the front page and links to a useful page of links. I think drupal should do the same. it also says that you are "obliged" to contribute back if you get a good answer. it also says that if the content of a thread changes, start a new thread so that the title matches the content. that's a good idea.

I like to add few designed page in my site that would be part of the site "design grid". Pages like "about" and "the crow" are to be store and displayed not as a page node but as a html page being read into drupal themed page (like I Frame) (or is it I Frame).
The purpose is to allow site manager to design in his own favorite html builder and with no copy/paste to CMS (and make it easer for the DB a little).
Any ideas ?
