Hi, I'd like to kombine some pages. I know the method here how to pull a page with the nid in to an other. But I'm trying to include system or module generated pages like the contact form or tagadelic page. So I don't have a nid to refere to. How can I include such generated pages in my own story or views page?
Hi all,
I have been looking around in the available open source CMS. And I've come over Drupal and had a quick look, I pretty admired it. But I don't know if it's the best choice. I'm looking for something suitable for a monthly magazine with all issues available online.
1. Can Drupal do that?
2. How much customization I need to do? What level of experience and time needed in that case, I'm not a designer nor web developer?
3. Is there any recommended CMS, open source or commercial, PHP or ASP for my needs? Please advice!
I'm an advisor to a college newspaper and was told just last week that my budget had been slashed by half for the year. So we've opted to drop a newsprint edition altogether and migrate to the Web. We have a small staff (of which no one has programming experience) and I haven't bothered with web design since the mid-1990s when I could consider myself a mere neophyte HMTL coder. Here's my question: How quickly could a newbie like me expect to get a basic newspaper website up and running with Drupal?
What I want to do is to make one "page" (URL) visible to any visitor, but without the possibility of registering as a user. It should be editable by a group of administrators. Is that possible? Is it simple? Is it obvious? How would you handle registration of the administrators?
Hey! I am thinking about implementing Drupal on my community based website... I just have two questions... firstly how do I unzip the .tar file, or how can I get a .zip download of Drupal? I know it's a very newbie quesion but I'm stuck lol!
Also, is this the standard forum with Drupal? My website will be heavily focused on the forum and I think I need something with a few more features than what I have seen from this?
