I have just completely recoded a huge multifaceted website, upgrading it with CSS and 4.01HTML Strict.
Is it very difficult to integrate such a site into Drupal? I plan on having a blog and a Zen Cart php based store front also. Customizing the current site to the Zen Cart program was not a problem. There is no JAVA but it is a rather graphics intensive site with several photo type galleries containing images.
Is there a MySql specialist that can tell me if it is any problem running Drupal 5.1 with an Internet Service Provider that has MySQL 4.0.21 installed. I asked them if they plan to upgrade, but said no. The INSTALL.txt file in 5.1 recommends MySql 4.1.
Hello everyone,
I'm currently developing a website with a friend of mine; let's say he is the software engineer and I am the designer, so I don't know much about web technology.
I am trying to figure out which CMS would be best suited for us, and until now Drupal seems to meet all of our requirements. However, one big issue that we are concerned about, and about which we haven't found any answer yet, is the support for JSP. How easy is it to issue JSP directives in Drupal?
maybe somebody could give me some answer to my questions what is need for...
I need a website with the fellowing features:
A main page
A event calendar
News Page
Mailing List
Gallery for some albums
Some static Pages
There's no need for User Accounts - only a fistful people are allowed to edit and modify.
A small private market for offer/search would be fine - but no mall or shopping system.
I'm looking for a solution to sell goods online.
Example: Product has 1 style with several different colors so we have to have choices.
A PayPal check out integrated into it would be perfect but we could go with a credit card account if absolutely required.
We had been using joomla with the phpshop module but really got tired of the late security updates and difficulties that go with that issue.
As a small company we need to showcase and promote through pictures of the product in use which I'm sure is not an issue.
I'm looking at using Drupal for a client of ours, and one of their requirements is that a username/password login would be passed to their Oracle database, then a packet is passed back saying whether this is successful or not (and probably a user-level).
Is this possible, and if so, how would we go about implementing something like this? The underlying database doesn't need to be Oracle, so that can remain the default MySQL.
