How can I show user avatar in forumtopics

How can I show user avatar in all forum topics of a user? For example: user 23 writes a new topic and the user-image should be shown in this article than automaticly if the user has upload an avatar.

I read many topics in the drupal forum about avatars but found no answer.

Using drupal 4-6-0 and the image-4.6.0 module

Uploading images to a User Profile is running fine and the permissions are also correctly.

A good name?

Hi-

So I want to make a website that would foster community involvement and allow for an ever-growing library of information pertaining to saltwater fish & aquariums. Basically, a place for people to find & post everything saltwater related.

Requirements for a name

  1. Open domain name, eg: something.net, .com, .org
  2. Short - one or two words
  3. Unique - memorable

I've been racking my brain, but nothing that I've came up with has really been exciting. So I thought that I'd ask here =]

Best,

Matthew

File sharing

Hi,

I've looked at a number of options in other projects, but none seems to provide exactly what I need. I want a simple html/php based file sharing app with:
* User accounts with passwords
* Groups
* Folders with read/write permissions dependant on groups
* Ability for users to upload and download files.
* Support https

Pages vs Blogs.

According to the handbook, there is a difference between page and blog nodes... but I don't see it.

"Blog Entry
Blogs, or weblogs, are another term for an online journal or diary. They are a place where members of the community can write their own thoughts and not have to worry about being ontopic for the site.

Page
Site pages are static pages which are typically (but not required to be) linked into the main navigation bar. One special thing about them is that they can contain customized PHP code in order to make their content dynamic."

Optimal width for 800x600 browsers?

I'm trying to design a webpage where my main content area will fit perfectly inside an 800x600 browser. Well, I set the width to 800px and was suprised to see that I still had to scroll to the right to see the entire page.

Then a realized that the reason for this was because though the monitor is 800px wide, the up/down scrollbar takes up space.

What width should I make my page so that I don't have to scroll to the right at all to see it, and its fits perfectly in the window?

Thanks

Drupal sites with Wikis

Hello, everyone:

Can anyone point me to any sites which use the Drupal wiki module? I need it to demonstrate to my superiors at work to persuade them install Drupal on our university's servers.

Thanks.

Pavel.
